DANUBIUS gave his name to the river the DANUBE,

called different names in different languages :

DONAU          dutch german

DANUBE        english french

DUNA             hongary

TUNA             turkey

DUNAV          croatia   bulgary

DUNAJ           slovakia  ukrayna

DUNAREA     rumania

DANUBIO      italy

from  9 - 19 may 2015  I will follow the DANUBE from PASSAU to SULINA on a boat  and will try to write in this blog everyday from 8 may on, to inform you of my journey.
