water everywhere and lovely little houses and many ducks and other birds.
first we went to giethoorn to make a boat-tour and visit the restaurant t zwaantje filled with dutch oldies.
giethoorn is charming and getting nicer every day because of strict rules that urg the people to bring back houses, trees and everything in the old style. tourism is booming, dubbeled this year and again expecting more tourists for next year, espessially from the far-east.
then we drove through flevoland, the land that was made from the sea, to urk, where many of theeuropean and turkish fishes are sold. we visited the museum in the old city hall where is show how this fisher-village was in the old days.
and then we went to the well-known fish-shop vdfant where we ate lekkerbekjes and took some salmon home to our house in the national park the weerribben in kalenberg.
