alora & cordoba

after packing we left our temporary home in alora and started driving north

where we after a couple of kms stopped at casa de olivas, the new home of dutch friends of rietje, a friend of ours, now living in turkey. this dutch couple came to live here 8 years ago and they run a bed and breakfast in a lonely house in the country on a hill surrounded by fields and some olive trees.
after coffee and selfies for rietje, we went on towards cordoba.

after getting my real train-tickets for tomorrow (I ordered them on the internet) we went to our hotel and started walking through cordoba.

cordoba is a lovely town with much green (parks everywhere) and a nice centre filled with small streets (the judish quarter) and old buildings ( famous the mesquita and the royal horsacademy : cabbelerizas reales de cordoba).

it was very crowded with a lot of spanish families that took a short brake, now that they have a holiday on sunday and tuesday) and the weather is still nice, and the nights are also warmer here because cordoba is not so high as f.i. granada).

now after 5dec the christmas markets and lights have started burning and with all the people around gives a festive atmosphere.
