madrid again

the train from cordoba to madrid was faster then officially planned so I arrived in madrid around 10 oclock; then quickly with a taxi to the turkish embassy and coskun passport is in my pocket.
the application of this passport was on monday and it arrived from ankara on friday;
for my dutch passport I am still waiting after 2 weeks...

then I phoned julio the visa man at the dutch embassy and found out that he was on holiday until wednesday; and he hadnt left a message for me, the luxemburg embassy or anyone else. they work very relaxed there at that embassy....

the lady at the dutch embassy started saying that coskuns new passport had to be send to the foreign office in the hague, but when I said that julio had told me of the option of getting the visum in madrid at the luxemburg embassy, she asked me to mail her a copy, which she should send to the hague...

luckily I was sitting in a coffee shop close to the turkish embassy that we found the last time we were in madrid and they have internet, so I made a foto with my IPAD and send that to the dutch embassy.

at 13:22 the luxemburg embassy called, that they got authorisation ; hurray  !!!
and he started telling what he all needed: fotos of coskun (oh ?!?) and coskun in person for fingerprints.... oh no ! and a copy of his health-insurance.
 then I asked him if he knew (I had asked the dutch embassy but no answer yet) if we would be able to get the visum in lissabon...

the nice people from the lux. embassy kept phoning me and helping me, even telling me that I have to wait some, because they have to check if it is possible to do the visum in lissabon in the hague. when I asked this to the dutch embassy by mail I got no answer and when I phoned them later they tell me they cannot answer this question because the visum department is on holiday (yes I know julio!) . oh and I asked for my pasport, that has not arrived yet...

so I wait for the call of the lux. embassy and after that I can train back to cordoba, after finishing only 1 of the 3 things I wanted to do today. at 15:15 the nice man of the lux. embassy phoned that it was OK from the hague to get the visum in lisbon, he was going to send them a mail with all the details.

so I changed my ticket and could return earlier as espected to cordoba, my husband and my dog and that delicous mixed-fish restaurant in the judish quarter.
