today we traveled along small and winding roads in first a yellow and dry scenery but later a nice green landscape with a lot higher mountains.
we stopped in antequera, a nice small town with many sites to be seen so we walked around and set down for lunch later. the friendly man from the tourism office, that also runs the parking under antequera's main square gave us a touristic map to help us with the site-seeing.
then we went 38km south along curvy country roads to alora and we passed the b&b's of 2 dutch owners (casa olivas and casa alamos) on our way.
after arrival in alora and some mysterious roads up and down and some very steep and narrow, we found the house of kevin at plaza baja 13. jo was also there to help us, but no electricity! that could be a big problem then all the neighbours had! so she quickly descided to give us the other house that kevin owned in alora.
and ... I like this house even more!
it is not a real spanish house on a squair with spanish locals around, but this house QUARANTE ( its on number 40), is spacious and has a lot of light coming in through the windows, a nice view, and a lot of terrasses on top. the equipment is also astonishing complete. dishwasher, wash-dryer, deepfreeze a.s.o.
now we sit down with the bottle of wine that was offered us in our welcome package and relax !
by the way, the weather was still very nice today, we saw some clouds but now again a clear blue sky and in the middle of the day 20 degrees.
