sevilla

after breakfast we left cordoba and went to sevilla. the weather is still nice, 20 degrees with some clouds. along the road we see again the big toros (of osborne I think?)

 

in sevilla there is an extra nice atmosphere because it is still this religious holiday and many families are in the streets and there is a brass band contest for the schools we think, because we see groups of children in different band-colors walking through the streets and making music, sort of ... 

it is a friendly, crowdy and colourfull happening !

we also had a look at the casa platanos, a very beautiful house filled with mosaics and remains from roman times and beautiful gardens. and walked through streets filled with nice houses, churches and palaces.

afterwards we went through hilly roads to villafranca de los barros, a place in the middle of nowhere but with a nice and cheap hotel near the road to merida and portugal for tomorrow.
