back to spain (the west most point)

after leaving our douro apartment we passed the river via the dom luiz bridge and went north;
north of porto, the north of portugal and the west/north of spain.

on our way was santiago the compostella, so we visited the cathedral and the buildings around it.
the cathedral was covered because it was being cleaned, but there were enough nice buildings surrounding it.

our hotel is at the sea in a coruna, opposite the old lighthouse (torre de hercule).

and at the end of our street is the stadium of riazor (los turcos) the known football club of this town.

we walked through the old town and the newer streets filled with families having their pre-christmas walk and we ended the day with the best tapas we eat ever!
